Got this through another list, I think it is a great idea, how 'bout you? The topic was, 'How to get info from a cemetery that doesn't have time or is not interested in helping genealogists'. "One more suggestion on this topic that I have received AND sounds like a great idea. If everyone on this list could volunteer at their local cemetery(ies) one or two days a month strictly taking care of any genealogy requests. During "slow" times, they could start compiling a database. I'm sure the management would love help in this area, freeing them up for their "normal" duties.
