We are looking for the grave of my husband's great great grandparents. We have a picture postcard, presumably taken before 1915 somewhere in Wisconsin, of their very substantial tombstone. I am sure that it would have survived to this day -- somewhere. It reads: Donahue "May God Have Mercy on Their Souls" James Donahue, Died July 10, 1883, Aged 61 years Margaret Donnelly, His Wife, 1829 - "Natives of Co. Cork Irld." According to a notation on the back, Margaret died in 1915. Until recently we thought they were buried in Fond du Lac County, but (thanks to the census rolls on-line!) we have now found them in the 1860 US census and James in the 1875 state Census in Lyndon, Juneau County. (And we anxiously await later Juneau County US censuses.....) So now we suspect that they are buried in a Catholic cemetery in the Lyndon area. I'm not sure what cemetery that would be; I THINK I have looked through all the cemetery records on-line with no luck. Does anyone have a record of these cemeteries and/or have knowledge of such a headstone? Also, if anyone has ready access to the 1870 or 1880 US census for Lyndon, I would appreciate any information.... (I am leaving on a business trip Tuesday afternoon, and will be back Saturday night. While I will not be able to respond during that time, please understand that I will be most grateful for any information and will respond quickly upon my return.)
