The 1860 census of the town of Necedah, Juneau County shows them living in the same household: Michael Waters, 26, born New Brunswick Bridget Waters, 22, born New Brunswick William Waters, 4 months, born Wisconsin William Waters, 28, born New Brunswick Mary Ann Waters, 26, born New Brunswick Sarah Waters, 5, born New Brunswick Mary Ann Waters, 3, born Illinois John McGuigan, 57, born Ireland Sarah McGuigan, 22, born New Brunswick John McGuigan, 18, born New Brunswick James McGuigan, 16, born New Brunswick Peter McGuigan, 12, born New Brunswick Michael McGuigan, 10, born New Brunswick James Waters, 22, born New Brunswick Some of them were still in Necedah, Juneau County in the 1870 census. Some of them seem to have moved to Ashland, Ashland County, Wisconsin, by the 1880 census. I believe James Waters later married Sarah McGuigan. I'd like to know who the parents were of Michael, William and James Waters / Watters because I think they might have been the brothers of my 3rd-great-grandmother, Mary Jane (Watters) Colbert. Her parents came from Ireland in 1828 and settled in St. George, Charlotte County, New Brunswick. I'd appreciate learning anything about these families. Thank you for any help or information!
