F Hazelton, I live in La Crosse. Our public Library has a wonderful archives room. They have the book in question that you are looking for. I will in the next couple of days make a trip to the library to retrieve it for you if you wish. Also, the library does have some of it's records online. La Crosse Public Library There are some Boyntons in the cemetery and obituary index. You can do free searches from there site. The libraries address and phone number are also listed. But, if you would like some searching that I could do I would be more then glad to do that for you. They did say that your grandfather's biography was about three columns long.
