Mrs. Moe had been a bride only a little over eighteen months -Lars I. Moe and Miss Julia Lone having been married Oct. 6th, 1885, in Dane county. She had made many warm friends during her short residence here, and was universally esteemed for the characteristics which makes a true lady, and an affectionate wife. This is the second wife that Mr. Moe has had the misfortune to lose in about three years, and he has the deep sympathy of the entire community in his great loss. A prayer was had at the house, and the funeral services were held at the Norwegian Church, by Rev. M. P. Ruh. Source: Elroy Tribune, dated 14 Apr 1887
