Terrill. Mr. Terrill was born in New Millford, Litchfield Co., Conn., July 29, 1800. He came to Ohio, from Connecticut in 1816, and was married to Miss Elizabeth S. Jones, May 22, 1824. With his family he moved from Ohio to Ind., and from the State of Ind., to Kansas, and in the year 1862, from Kansas to Wis., where he has since resided. He was converted pryor to his marriage, and united with the Christian church, and at a later period, with the Freewill Baptist, then the Congregationalist. After coming to New Lisbon he united with the Baptist church in this place. The funeral services were held at his late residence, and was conducted by the pastor of the M.E. church, Rev. H. D. Jencks. The services were impressive and a large concorse of sympathizing friends followed his remains to the grave. The deceased leaves a widow and two children to mourn their loss.
