JCGS Book 1 - St Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church CHARLESTON, Mrs - Hare Funeral Marker - pg 14 - There is a note that there is no record of who is buried in any of the graves, so Hare Funeral Home donated markers until the stones could be erected. Hare Funeral Home did not start up business until 1955, and does not have any records of a funeral in this cemetery. You might have to check with St Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church to see if they maintained any records - Greenwood Cemetery pg2 Row 6 CARLSON, Haydon Jun 17, 1908 - Oct 31, 1908 pg 10 Row 19 CARLSON, Stephen Randolph s/H&M Jul 24-27, 1959 Bayview Cemetery Necedah pg 53 Lot 66 CARLSON, Carl 1822 - 1897 CARLSON, Carl 1865 - 1936 CARLSON, Ever 1851 - 1930 CARLSON, Henry 1853 - 1903 CARLSON, Kari 1821 - 1911 CARLSON, Lucille 1911 (one date only) CARLSON, Lula 1871 - 1917 CARLSON, Vanetta 1909 (one date only) No stones probably Bayview (death certificates on file) pg 92 CARLSON, Henry d 1907 52y s/Carl Iverson & Carrie Olsen ROAGK: Lookups in JCGS Cemeteries Books I & II Northern townships, and New Lisbon area ONLY - For all other requests please check out http://www.rootsweb.com/~wijuneau/jcgs.html You can obtain more information from the JuneauCoWI Web site at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wijuneau/ This will be posted at the JuneauCoWI Message Board - perhaps someone else will be better able to assist you. I am not related to nor have any additional information on these surnames. R/S MAK +++ I see from the Juneau Cemetery Index that you will check out surnames noted in the cemetery Indexes. I am looking for info on the location of the grave of" Mrs. CHARLESON" in the St. Paul's Evangelical Church Cemetery in New Miner. I've seen references to the JCGS Book 1 p. 14., but I would like the exact location, and any additional information shown if possible. I am sending flowers up there for Memorial Day, and if you have the info at your fingertips, I would be really grateful if you could let me know right away, so the florist can find the grave. I know it's asking a lot, but any help would be appreciated. Also, I see a Carlson in the Greenwood Cemetery Index, and would appreciate all information on that grave. It's one of a whole group of alternate spellings I've seen ( including Charlson, Carlsen, Kelsen, Kelson, Kjelson, Kalson) for identified family members. My grandparent Charlesons came from Norway in 1871-73 and lived in Necedah/ Strong's Prairie area for several generations at least. My grandmother is Jennie Charleson , married to James Drummond of Necedah. She is the daughter of Emma and Peter Charleson and my mother is Doris Drummond Kramer . I'm picking up on my family research, and a lot of information has led me to the premise that it is my great grandmother, Emma Charleson, born in Norway, ca. 1848, buried in the grave in St. Paul's Cemetery. I was up in Necedah several years back and visited the cemetery and spoke with a number of wonderful people who gave me a lot of information, but I don't have the location I need for the moment.
