You didn't include your sister's name or township she was born or died - also a general timeframe would be good. Recommend you contact the Juneau County Courthouse in Mauston - they should have the records. Details can be found at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wijuneau/links.htm This will be posted to the Message Board - perhaps someone there can help you - R/S MAK +++ I had a sister whom passed away shortly after birth. I would like to know where I can find out her date of birth/death. Thank you Mrs. Roger Downing (Larinda M. DeLap) <itslindad@juno.com>

Would anyone know where to obtain old church records from the Methodist Episcopal Church in Juneau County? My ancestor, Thomas Hinton, passed away April 17, 1867 - I have been unable to find a death certicate or an obituary. I think the church may have some kind of records pertaining to his death. Thomas lived in Orange Twp. and is buried in the Hustler Cemetery. Any suggestions? I have looked everywhere for this info, and NOTHING has turned up! One of my great-grandpas, Charles Willis HARMON (b. 1868), married a Mary Minerva WALLACE. She was also known as just Minerva, Minnie, or Mary Minnie. I have NO information on her parents, origins, or even her birthdate or place, and I have had a heck or a time trying to uncover anything. They had a son, Darell Boyd Harmon, who was a prominent researcher in the field of vision problems... in case that helps jog anyone's memory. I have photos of her, and family gossip about her, but nothing more substantial. I also am looking for information about Diadama (MACKIE) HARMON. She was married to John Harmon, the above Charles' grandfather. I saw information about her death posted on this list recently... which was wonderful... and I have no idea who asked for it to be posted... if anyone has any info on her family whatsoever, I could really use it. Finally, if anyone has any information about the family of Emily NUTTING (wife of Abner Bemis) or Olive BALDWIN (Benjamin Bemis' wife), please let me know. All of these people had ties to the Juneau region at one time or another (Olive, only because her descendents lived there). I have very extensive family tree information about the other members in these lines, and would be happy to share. If possible, please send replies to my email address as well as the board (rmcoleman@erols.com)... I am not really used to using these boards and I'm afraid I will miss something. Thank you so much. -Rebecca Coleman

I am looking now for immigration records for Caroline FRANCISCO PATTERSON. The 1920 census says Caroline applied for her citizenship in 1866 and apparently received it in 1872. Does anyone know where I can look to find this document?? Her obit. states that she was b. in Germany Oct 6 1845 and came to USA at age 5. So far I have looked in Germans to America and she is not in there. I found on her husband Robert's Civil War record that her maiden name was FRANCICCO and subsequent searches of the census say she was b. in Wurttemberg Germany. I found her in the 1860 census city of Mackford, Green County, WI living with a Larson family. I think she must have came over with another family. I would hate to think she came by herself. Her and her husband Robert moved to Lemonweir and than in later years Necedah in Wisconsin. Thanks for any information you would know about the immigration in Wisconsin. Roberta Dillin Sahr.
