My ancestor was a Freewill minister in Washington and Fond du Lac Counties, but I know there were several other counties that had this denomination. The history of the Freewill Baptists often was mixed in with Baptists or Congregationalists. Is anyone aware if this county had Freewill Baptists and how I might learn more? Thanks!!

Thank you. Just wondering if a local resident might know where the burials are even though they are probably unmarked? Or if the creamery still stands. I visited the area last weekend and noticed a brick shed in rough condition on the corner of Hwy 21 and County M where I believe Cranberry Center was located. Could the brick building have been part of the creamery?

E. Evans and Homer Cripps, infant, at Cranberry Center, Cutler Township, Juneau County in the 1890's. They may have been buried in Section 14 northeast of the creamery site. Does anyone know the exact location of these graves? Homer Cripps was possible son of Emma (Evans) and Elon Cripps who were married about 1897. Emma Evans was the daughter of William Evans, brother to L. (Lumen) E. Evans. I am wondering if their graves are marked or location known?

Patrick came to Juneau county in about 1856 and farmed in Lindina township, but I'd like to be able to go there and see the land. Patrick left Lindina township in about 1908 and moved to Mauston, where he died in 1916. Same with Mary Ellen's father, John McCormick. He came in about 1855 and stayed till the mid 1870s. From Juneau County he moved to Minnesota and then North Dakota. I've tried to look at the microfilms of land records at Juneau County courthouse, but some of the microfilms are broken, the reader is in bad shape, and the county employees in that office were uncooperative the one time I was there. Is there another way? I have found the families in census so I know who their neighbors were, but that doesn't pinpoint it for me. Thanks for any suggestions. Gloria
