    1. Let's Surprise Jackie
    2. joan benner
    3. Hello List, Jackie Hufschmid is on vacation this week, and I need some help to complete some surprises from all of us Juneau rooters for her. Jackie has been looking for a 1909 Juneau County death certificate and obit for awhile, and yesterday I found the death certificate she needed at Mauston's courthouse. Does anyone on the list live in Juneau County or near Elroy?? Could this person please go to the Elroy Library and look for an obit notice this week or weekend? Please contact me if you can help for the details. Jackie is still eagerly accepting contributions of photocopied census pages to transcribe for the Juneau Rootsweb pages. Please consider sending copies to her of any federal Juneau census not on the pages yet when you view or borrow Juneau census microfilm. Can some of us help her towards her goal of having ALL of Juneau County's census online?? The cost of copies and postage for a large census enumeration, such as Necedah, would be under $5-6. Jackie spends time nearly every day helping us Juneau rooters by typing and placing huge amounts of data online, with help from occasional volunteers. Let's show her our appreciation and surprise her. Joan M. Benner, Golden Rule Genealogy Member, Association of Professional Genealogists and Rootsweb Sponsor Friendly Professional Research, Guided by the Golden Rule Specializing in Central Wisconsin Records P.O. Box 1559, Wisconsin Rapids WI 54495-1559 or for more information, http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwood/resource/r-joanb.htm Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.
