LYONS, of this place, July 2nd, a girl. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Hiram L. GREGORY, of York, July 13, a girl. The next M. E. sociable will meet with Mr. and Mrs. G. M. HULL next Wednesday. Mr. HILTS has his new house on section 30 finished, and has lately moved into it. A neat monument marks the last resting place of Mrs. Hattie C. WARREN in the Sechlerville cemetery. S. D. BURNETT started for his home in Nebraska, after enjoying a very pleasant visit with relatives and friend sin Sechlerville. There was a sociable at the residenc eof F. WARREN last Wednesday afternoon and evening. A good time was indulged in by all present. Mrs. G. M. HULL's mother and sister, Mrs. BAKER, of Warsaw, Indiana and Mrs. Catherine BYER, of Manchester, Indiana, after enjoying a pleasant visit here, returned to their homes last Friday. Quarterly meeting was held at the M. E. church last Sunday. Rev. G. N. FOSTER filled the pulpit in the morning services, and P. E. Geo. W. CASE in the evening.
