Hugh C. PERKINS, who broke jail in Neillsville five years ago, where he was being held for trial for the murder of Hugh MEDDAUGH, has been found and arrested near Detroit, Michigan. He will be brought back for trial. It will be remembered that PERKINS and MEADOWS (sic) quarreled over some lumber, and that PERKINS shot MEDDAUGH. E. B. BUTTERBAUGH visited St. Paul last week. Mr. and Mrs. Syd. E. BROWN spent Sunday in New Lisbon. Rev. W. C. ROSS and wife called on Merrillan friends last Saturday.
