Most of the Simplots there are direct descendants of Benjamin Simplot. He was my Grandmothers first husbands father-in-law. Her first husband was John Simplot. He was killed in a hunting accident and she then married my grandfather, Earl John Taylor. But at any rate look at the Simplot roots web, there you will be able to hook up with Simplots who have traced the tree all the way back.
