Dates of 1853-1860 pre date Jackson County's existence, prior records can be located at either LaCrosse or Crawford County Records. (I can check LaCrosse) 2. Jackson had an indexed list by cemetery of all burials within them. No Jane Race Sherwood is listed. 3. There does exist a Sherwood Cemetery, twn of Springfield, and their are Sherwood's buried at Brookside Cemetery, twn of Millston.
