I have since determined that the marriage was between JOHN SANSBURG and Augusta Buchholz [spelled Buckholz in Wisconsin Marriages 1835-1900] who were married on March 22, 1870 at Melrose, Jackson County, Wisconsin. I am now trying to determine where John and Augusta Sunsburg resided between 1870 and June 1876 at which time she married Christian Ferdinand Rubow in LaCrosse County, Wisconsin. My purpose is to determine if three children shown in later records with the Rubow surname were, in fact, born of Augusta's earlier marriage to John Sansburg. These children were Minnie/Mina, August, and Julius. All were born in Wisconsin before Augusta's second marriage in 1876; two of the three were born before Ferdinand Rubow came to the US in 1874. Can you help me determine either the Sansburg residency between 1870 and 1876...or the birthplaces for the children listed above....?
