R. JOHNSON, in this city, Wednesday May 1st, 1889, at 11:00 am, by Rev. J. G. Wells, Charles A. SHERWOOD and Miss Mamie L. TYLER. The wedding was attended only by relatives and a few particularly intimate friends. In the afternoon of the same day the newly wedded pair went to Hixton, where they will reside. The groom is the sober, honest, industrious and intelligent adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. SHERWOOD, in the town of Hixton, and is highly respected. The bride was born and reared in this city, and has numerous friends to wish her happiness in her new state in life. She is bright and energetic and graduated from the high school here with the class of 1886.
