I double checked all your SMITH names to my database and found nothing. I have a Winfield Scott SMITH, b. circa 1852, Montgomery, Orange Co., NY to parents Frederick SMITH and Catharine M. UNKNOWN; m. my ancestor Lydia Jane PRESTON on May 16, 1877, Albion Twp., Jackson Co., WI; and d. in 1931, Garden Grove, Orange Co., CA. Since Winfield is an in-law, I don't have any further information on his ancestors. I do, however, have information on his descendants. Good luck in your continued research~ Laurie :)
