Surnames: Loomis, Duerkop Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/oEC.2ACE/546 Message Board Post: Trying to locate a Loomis family that lived in Gilmanton, WI in 1888 near a family called, "Duerkop". These Loomis' took in an infant girl whose mother died giving her birth. The Loomis' lived near by and raised this little girl to adult, from what I have been told. The baby girl was born February 8, 1888 in Gilmanton, WI. Does anyone have any knowledge of this Loomis family that raised this child? Gloria
