Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/Jackson/10455 Surname: Miller, Boyea ------------------------- The Miller line we are working on is a brother, Wm., and his sister Anna from MO, who came, likely mid-1800s, to WI. Anna married/bore children of Alphonse aka Ezra Boyea, 4 children born between 1872 and 1880, and the eldest and third are documented born in Black River Falls, in Jackson County. The children, at least, later lived and died in the EauClaire Cty and Chippewa Cty areas, locales such as Cadott and Ludington. I see that Alma Center is very close to Black River. We do not know why the two Miller siblings came to WI, apparently together, but without their father, Isaiah Randolph Miller, although he came later on, and is buried in the Ludington Cemetery with three of the Boyea children born to Anna Miller. Boyea children were Isaiah, Anna May, Alphon Ray, and William. Have you run across this line? We speculate that William and Anna Miller came to WI because they knew someone here, or had family here. Right now, Anna is our "brick wall". Best wishes with YOUR searches! Jeanine
