I am looking for information on the family of David Brown, born 11 March 1856 (or several years earlier) in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland. His parents were William and Helen (McLachlen) Brown. In about 1878, he married Catharine Lamont in Gourock, Scotland. She was born 11 February 1855 in Inverkip, Renfrew, Scotland. Her parents were Donald and Christian (McCallum) Lamont. David and Catharine immigrated to the United States in the early 1880s, settling in Berlin, Green Lake County, Wisconsin. David was a paving cutter in the granite quarries in Berlin.
