Alma Platt. -------------------------------------------- I actually have "volume two" of Ottomar Robert Hermann "Otto" Thym's diary which runs from 1871 through 1917. Only parts of it have been translated so far, but it is very interesting for the level of detail of daily life Otto marked. It starts during his service in the Franco-Prussian War. The name of his father comes from his death certificate. The names of two of his supposed brothers have question marks above after their names because they are mentioned in his diary but I have not otherwise documented their existence.
