Between 1849 and 1852, Robert & Emily DAMUTH owned 160 acres of land in Section 29, about 2 miles east of the village of Marquette. Of course, back then it was Dayton Township and still part of Marquette County. Subsequently, they moved a few miles south to Randolph Township, Columbia County. Can anyone tell me if the village of Marquette has any ca 1850 graveyards? I suspect the family may have children buried there. Thanks for any help that is out there.
