Ethelbert and Laura (Cooper) Nichols moved to Green County (St. Marie?) in the 1850's from New York. Ethelbert's father, Amos, may have also been with them. My gg grandfather, Daniel Webster Nichols, was born in Wisconsin. I am trying to determine exactly where they lived and if Daniel had any siblings. I am also trying to find out if Ethelbert and Laura moved to Minnesota when their children did or stayed in Wisconsin. If anyone has information on this family, please let me know.
