    1. Thyms of Town of Manchester (need a volunteer look-up for an elderly man in Germany)
    2. Am helping out a Mr Palm with research on his family in Green Lake. His great Uncle, Otto Thym was born March 1847 in Kuertow, Arnswalde, Germany, immigrated with his wife Martha in 1875, and died in the Town of Manchester in 1927. I think what he would like to know is who his parents were. If some kind soul might visit the Green Lake court House for me, and email the info, I will pass it on to him. I think he is short on records himself his town was sacked by the Russians at the end of ww2. Thankyou on his behalf, Lance in Madison I would check it myself but the historical soc only goes up to 1907

    2. I don't think this is my Francis Smith, because in 1880 they would have been 44 and 40 and also their children were: Cora, Eva,Georgia, Walter and Frank. I had seen that before and was quite surprised by the names but no Lorenzo or Effie in my family. thanks for your help. Linda

    1. Re: Family Search
    2. Hi, Hi, I ran across your postings in a couple places, and was wondering what you have found out about the Schwandt family? My great grand- mother was Caroline Schwandt, one of her brothers was Juilus. She also had two other brothers, Herman and Ferdinand, and three sisters, Mathilda, Mary, and Minnie. Their parents were Ferdinand Schwandt, and Louise Berkholtz (spelling may not be right on this) born in Germany. Does any of this ring a bell with you? Looking forward to hearing from you. Cathie

    2. Sue Frost
    3. Hi All It's me again. I must have had a bad day when I wrote my first note to you . The correct information is: Joseph Mroz (Frost) married Francis (Malgeohat) Comochinski in 1868 and with their son Michael came to Princeton about 1872. Their children are: Michael, Mary, Jack, Nellie, Joseph, Kate, Frank, John, Walter, Anna, Stanish, Anton. Stanish Frost (Mroz) married Clara Nowatski and their children are: William, Irene, Raymond, Alexander, Edward, Bernard, Leonard, Alice, Delphine, Donald, Phyliss. Matthias Nowatzke married Jessie Szyper and they and their son John Nowatski came to Princeton about 1872 from Grelewa, Germany. John married Anna Coda (Daughter of Stephen Coda and Katarzyna Cujak)and their children are: Julianna, Frank, Sophia, Stanley, Anna, Clara, Walter, Joseph, John, Marie, Henry. Sorry I didn't check my records (I thought I could remember it) Sue

    1. Re: GRALKOWSKI, ULKA, CARBARSKI
    2. I believe the first surname should be spelled as Graikowski. Some of his siblings kept it as Grajkowski. The third surname appears to refer to Garbarski.

    1. Mroz (Frost)
    2. Sue Frost
    3. Hi All I am of the Alex Frost Line of Mroz (Frost) who are from Princeton. I am searching for any connections to: Joseph Mroz and Francis (Malgeohat) Comochinski (The first generation to America I think) who came to Green Lake Co. about 1868-72. The had 12 children: Michael, Mary, Jack, Nellie, Joseph, Kate, Frank, John, Walter, Anna, Stanish, Anton. I have not had any luck with the place in Poland that they came from. I have not yet found information on Nellie, Kate, Jack, John, Anna, Mary, Anthony. The church records were written Polish and I couldn't translate them. Mroz was translated to Frost, (It is hazenfrost in Polish.) and most used the name Frost. Stanish (Mroz) Frost married Anna Coda (Soda or Zoda) and their children are: William, Irene, Raymond, Alexander, Edward, Bernard, Leonard, Alice, Delphine, Donald, Phyliss, Joyce. I sure would like to exchange information with anyone else who is researching these lines: Frost, Mroz, Nowatzski, Fleming, Bukorski, White, Weilgosh, Austin, Kotaboski, Klapper, Coda, Plencner, Lese, Novak, Smoody, Kuharski, Polus, Webster. Spellings may be different. Sue Frost (I am the wife of Harold Frost who is the son of Alex Frost and Marion Jahns)

    2. Stan Hodge
    3. Anton Langsdorf was the second husband of my 2nd G-Grandmother. I don't know a whole lot about him, but if he belonged to a church at all it would have been a German Lutheran Church, possibly the New Settlement Church where many of my other ancestors attended and relatively close to their property. I have his birth information as 17 Sep 1833, Pohl-Goens, Hessen-Daamstadt, Prussia. If you would like sources or other info, feel free to contact me. Stan Hodge. scheppg@mindless.com wrote: > Does anyone know which church Anton Langsdorf or any Langsdorf was a member? Most likely in Manchester Twp or Manchester Twp in Green Lake County. It would had been prior to 1900 as they are shown in the 1900 census in Wausau. 3. One of his marriage records shows that he married Johanna Ferge in a Lutheran ceremony in Manchester, GL Co. on 12/28/1873, and the minister was Eugene Walther. (His parents: Conrad & Anna Langsdorf; her parents: George & Sophia Schmutzler) Here's hoping that this was his religion and not just hers. (this is the marriage that likely ended in divorce) Deb ----- Original Message ----- From: <scheppg@mindless.com> To: <WIGREENL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 05, 2001 12:03 PM Subject: Langsdorf Family > > Does anyone know which church Anton Langsdorf or any Langsdorf was a member?
