Owens, died at the home of her parents, Saturday evening, July 15, 1893, after a short illness, aged 21 years, 11 months and 9 days. She was born and reared in the town of Albany. She was married Nov. 14, 1891 to Robert Graff, who with a daughter ten months old are thus called early to mourn their loss. Mrs. Graff was of a happy, cheerful disposition, and thus endeared herself to all who knew her. Owing to the nature of the disease from which she died, blood poisoning, it was thought best not to have a public funeral, and the remains were therefore set to rest in the Albany cemetery late Sunday evening, the funeral sermon being delivered by Rev. H.A.Rogers, in the M.E. Church at 10:00 Monday forenoon. The sorrowing husband and parents have the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their affliction.
