Can someone tell me what the story is--I heard the public cannot look up records in the court house. Does this mean you can go there and have someone pull the old records for you? Or that the public can't do any searching there? I hope i got this story wrong! Thank you. Laura

Laura, I have had no problems at the Green County courthouse. You must first fill out a sheet stating who you are and what you are there for. First time visitors are given a tour. Then you may look up the records yourself.
