Hey List, I am interested in obtaining information on George Richards King and his family. George was born on August 24, 1844 in Mt. Morris, New York. His father was Hesden Pryor King who died in Jordan, Green, Wisconsin on July 1, 1866. Charles Francis King, Hesden's youngest son was born in Jordan, Green, Wisconsin on October 4, 1861. Apparently, Hesden had a farm in Jordan, because after George mustered out of the Union army, he returned to Green County with his wife, Mariah Campbell King. George and Mariah had two children born in Green County, Charles W. King was born on August 15, 1866 and George Thomas King was born on January 21, 1868. I would like to find some proof that George R. and his family were indeed in Green County during this time period. I would also like to find out more information on Charles W. King.
