Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Wi/GreenObits/10580 Surname: Price, Heathman, Wright, Purington, Young, Smith ------------------------- Albany, Green County Wisconsin Vindicator, Thursday, Jan. 21, 1897 Mr. Benjamin Price died at his home in the town of Exeter on Saturday, Jan. 9, 1897 at 7:00 pm after a very long siege of sickness and suffering, aged 58 years, 10 months and 12 days. Deceased was born in the parish of Llandinam, Montgomery County, North Wales, Feb. 27, 1838. He came to this country when he was 20 and settled in Green County. His occupation has been that of farming up to the time of his death. He leaves a wife, three daughters and a step-son to mourn their loss. He was married to Mrs. Huldah Heathman Aug. 31, 1874, who survives him. The good work he has always done speaks louder than the tongue of man. He was a good father, a loving husband, and a staunch friend, always ready to aid the needy and those who sought his counsel. Anna, his eldest daughter, was born Oct. 4, 1876; was married to Samuel Wright on October 22, 1893. Amelia, his second daughter, ws born July 10, 1878; was married to Hiram Purington Dec. 24, 1896. Edward Young, his step-son, was born Oct. 26, 1866 and was married to Miss Anna Smith on Sept. 4, 1896. The funeral was held at the M.E. Church at Attica on Tuesday, Jan. 12, Rev. C.C. Swartz of Albany officiating.
