All the pages associated directly with this site now bear the same style (color and fonts) and are linked back to the main Green Co. Web page. The official web site for the Green County Genealogical Society has been expanded to include a membership form and email addresses for various officers. It continues to be updated with events as they are known of. The Towns and Township page has taken on the most expansion with information about each town/township within the county. We hope to continue to add to the site with information for our county and encourage contributions. Some of our hopes are: 1. to acquire old photos/postcards of the area; 2. provide a list of surnames in each cemetery 3. provide more links to websites for descendants of Green County 4. find more useful links to assist you in your research in the area We encourage you to contribute photos (scanned in jpeg or gif format), links to your personal family tree web site; surnames for the surname page; volunteer to do lookups, and of course, join the Green County Genealogical Society.
