Well, I am on this list, but did not recognize any names or have any substantially helpful information. I, too, have many questions regarding Green County, Wisconsin. Hence the reason I joined the list. My first problem is that I have not found any birth certificates for any of my relatives anywhere in the Green County Birth indexes. I am starting to believe that no one reported births. However, I have been successful in finding marriage licenses (using films requested from the Latter Day Saints). Now, here is my question: Is there any church records in existence?? All of my relatives are Lutheran and I have not found any indication of microfilmed church records. In fact, I do not even know church names. I am also interested in obituaries too. However, no one seems to have these archived anywhere either that I have seen. I'm sorry I could not help you.
