Hi listers! I have a "Children of the American Revolution" pin which we found in my gr-gr-great-grandmother's things after she died and we think that since she lived in Monroe, Green Co. Wis. most of her 91 years that it came from someone there! The pin has the name NANNIE B. RICE on it and the 4-digit number 5466. My ggg-grandmother was Elizabeth GORMAN DOLAN GRANT, b. 1852 in Troy, New York, to John and Jemima GORMAN, and moved with her family to Monroe as a young girl. She married John DOLAN, son of Patrick and Ann DOLAN, in 1870 and they farmed in Monroe until his death in 1920. She then married Jonas B. GRANT (a neighbor) and they moved to California in about 1930. She died in 1938 and is buried in the Old Calvary Cemetery in Monroe. Does anyone know how she might be connected to the RICE family or who Nannie B RICE is? I have already asked the DAR about the pin but they couldn't tell me anything. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thank You! Kathy ! Olden Berman
