My gr-gr-grandfather, Thomas Smith BOWEN, arrived 1838 at Clarno, Green Co., WI with his brother, William BOWEN. Thomas and his first wife, Louisa GRANNIS, had 9 children. She died in 1854, and he married (2) Margaret GIBLER in 1862. They had 2 children: Eliza, born 1864, and my gr-grandfather, Thomas S. BOWEN, b. 1867. Eliza BOWEN m. George L. GRAY in 1884, Thomas S.
