Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Wi/GreenObits/10507 Surname: Francis ------------------------- Albany, Green County, Wisconsin Vindicator Thursday, March 27, 1890 Gone to Rest Edward Francis, brother of William Francis, died March 9, 1890 upon the same bed as his elder brother, William. He survives William only a little over 11 months. He came to this country from England about the year 1850, bought a farm in Middleton, near Madison, and after farming it about 8 years, sold out in 1868. He has since lived in Madison, Albany, Monroe, Madison again, then to Janesville, where he buried his faithful wife in December, 1887. Feb. 19 he came to Albany on a visit, took cold and as he lately had had the grippe, pneumonia set in and he died in his 82nd year. He was a mind your own business man. he was buried in the Oak Hill cemetery at Janesville, March 11. Mr. Francis was a member of Trinity church, Janesville, Rev. James Slidell officiating.
