A. Jones The many friends of Mrs. E.A. Jones, who left Albany a few short weeks ago, to join her husband in Knoxville, Tennessee, will be greatly grieved and shocked to learn of her death, which occurred on the 17th inst. We publish below a letter from Mrs. Addison DeCondres giving the particulars. Editor of the Vindicator: Mrs. E. A. Jones, formerly of Albany, Wisconsin, died in Knoxville, Tennessee, Wednesday, June 17 at 8 pm in her home, 1008 Forest Avenue, of congestion of the stomach. She was only sick one week. During her brief illness she showed a true, patient Christian spirit and was ready to say "Thy Will Be Done". Although their stay in Knoxville was of a short duration, still by their gentle, loving ways and Christian lives they have won the respect and admiration of many people. Tender, loving hands laid this dear sister to rest, but her faithfulness to her husband in his late illness, and faith and trust in her Savior will long be remembered by her friends here. Brother Jones has the warmest sympathy of friends here in his bereavement and every attention will be rendered to help forward his recovery. He would like to write to his friends but is unable to do so. He wishes the prayers of the many friends that he may be able to accomplish the work that the Master has spared him for, great or small.
