Deceased was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Martin, both of whom preceded her across the river of death. Miss Martin was born in Albany and made her home here until about ten years ago, when she went to live with Mrs. Conroy. For a number of years she has been employed as a stenographer and type writer. Her death was due to an attack of la grippe, which went to the brain. The funeral was held from St. Patrick's Church in Janesville on Monday, and was very largely attended. The floral offerings were profuse and magnificient. The remains were laid to rest in Mt. Olive Cemetery at Janesville. A number of relatives and friends from here were present to pay their last sad respects to the dead. Three sisters, Mrs. Gabe Jacobson, Mrs. S.L. Gothompson of Albany, Mrs. Jas. Blake of Detroit and a brother, William Martin of Albany, are left to mourn their loss.
