Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Wi/GreenObits/10543 Surname: Green, Sutton ------------------------- Albany, Green County Wisconsin Vindicator, Thursday, October 22, 1891 Died-At the residence of Luther Green in this village on Thursday October 15, 1891 Mr. George Sutton, aged 56 years, 1 month and 6 days. He was born in Trumbull County, Ohio, Sept. 9, 1835 and came to Wisconsin with his parents in 1853, and lived with them until 1870. He then went to Kansas returning in 1876. He also spent about two years in Kansas recently. He was married three times, leaving two sons by his first wife, one of whom, Charlie, now living at Charles City, Iowa, was present at the funeral. The address of the other was not known. Mr. Sutton has been in poor health for a number of years, and two accidents occurring recently, but a few weeks apart, in one of which his thigh was broken and the other his shoulder, greatly weakened him and finally caused his death. The funeral was held at Mr. Green's residence Saturday afternoon, Rev. J.C. Carter conducting a brief service. The remains were taken to the cemetery at the Gap Church for interment.
