We copy the following from the Brodhead Independent of March 21: Died in De Funiak Springs, Florida, after a brief illness February 13, 1890, Mrs. Alta Fleek Broderick, aged 23 years and 11 months. Mrs. Broderick, daughter of Edmund T. and Sarah Fleek, was born in Green County, Wisconsin, March 11, 1866. On the 27th of December, 1887 she was married to James Broderick of Rock County, who with an infant daughter survives her. She leaves a mother, five sisters and four brothers, together with an extended circle of relatives, to mourn their loss.
