Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Wi/GreenObits/10509 Surname: Burt, Sutton ------------------------- Albany, Green County Wisconsin Vindicator, Thursday, March 5, 1891 Sister Rebecca Burt was born in Westmoreland, Pa., May 27, 1807. She lived with her parents until her marriage to Zebulon Sutton on May 15, 1827. This relation existed 63 years, 8 months and 28 days. She survived her beloved companion but 17 days, departing this life on the 25th of Feb., 1891. She was converted to Christianity and united with the Baptist Church over 50 years ago, and was a member of the Monticello Prairie Church in full fellowship at the time of her death. Sister Sutton's life was a busy one, always doing good for herself and others, and was kind and indulgent to her family. One son and two daughters are left to mourn her departure. She has left earthly friends behind but has gone to join friends who have gone before--the Master has called her to come up higher. Thus again we are admonished of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. J. Andereck, of Juda, who took for his text 2nd Cor., 5th Chapter. The remains were taken to the cemetery at the Monticello Prairie Church for interment. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. NOTE: Card of thanks signed by J.W. Carver
