Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Wi/GreenObits/10487 Surname: Cross, Comstock ------------------------- Albany, Green County, Wisconsin, Vindicator, July, 1892 Miss Louisa Cross was born in Fulton County, New York, March 20, 1826, and passed to the higher life at her residence four miles north of Albany on Monday, June 27, 1892, after weeks of weary suffering. Deceased was married to Mr. Lewis Comstock March 10, 1846. In 1850 they removed to Walworth County, Wisconsin, removing to Green County, Wisconsin in 1854, where they have since resided. Mrs. Comstock united with the Baptist Church in 1856 and although unable to attend for several years, has remained a faithful member. Her aged husband is left alone to mourn his loss, no children having been borne to them. Funeral services were heldl at the Baptist Church at 2 pm Wednesday, Rev. J.C. Carter preaching a comforting sermon to the bereaved ones. Deep sorrow pervades the entire community in which she lived.
