Moore William F. Moore was born in Duchess County, New York, April 19, 1822. In the year 1851 he came to Waukesha County, Wisconsin where he was married March 9, 1853 to Minerva Clawson. They removed to Green County in 1859, where they lived until the time of his death, which occurred Jan. 17, 1892. Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Moore, namely: Mary, Edgar J., Ella M., Lottie C., and Nettie K. Three of the children. Edgar J., Ella M., and Lottie C. are with the mother to mourn the loss of a kind father and affectionate husband. Mr. Moore was a consistent Christian and at the time of his death was a member of the Juda Baptist Church, having united with that church 24 years ago. The funeral services were held in the Juda Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. J.C. Carter, the pastor, Rev. J. Andereck being unable to conduct them on account of illness. He has fought the good fight and won the victory. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord".
