Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Wi/GreenObits/10530 Surname: Edwards, Miller ------------------------- Albany, Green County, Wisconsin Vindicator, Thursday, March 28, 1895 Mr. Luke Edwards was born in Wayne County, NY September 19, 1818 and died at his home in Sylvester, Green County, Wisc., Friday, March 22, 1895. Mr. Edwards was married to Maria Miller Aug. 16, 1837. They came to Green County Wisc., in the month of June, 1854. Ten children were born to them--four girls and six boys. Four of this number have preceded their father to the spirit world. All the living children were with him and tenderly cared for him during his last sickness. He was a good husband and a kind father. Mr. Edwards was very much esteemed in the community where he lived as an honest, upright business man. He leaves an aged wife, six children and a host of friends to mourn his death.
