L. Holiday, aged 50 years, 5 months and 17 days. Mrs. Holiday, whose maiden name was Anna L. Doty, was born in Oakland County, Michigan on Feb. 16, 1841. At the age of 19 she was married to G.L. Holiday and in 1865 they removed to Albany, where they have since resided. Two children, Frank and Arthur, were born to them, both of whom are living, the former in Beloit. He arrived just a little too late to be present at his mother's death. Mrs. Holiday embraced Christianity in 1865, uniting with the Advent Church, and has led a faithful Christian life. A kind and loving neighbor, always ready to assist those in sorrow and trouble, she leaves behind many friends who will long mourn their loss. Her death was rather unexpected, although she had been ailing for the past year and a half, death resulting from enlargement of the heart, after an illness of about ten days. The funeral was held at her late residence on Saturday, conducted by Rev. H.A. Rogers. The sorrowing husband and children have the deep sympathy of all in their great bereavement.
