Emily Turman Burt was married to Franklyn J. Burt in March of 1850 She is the daughter of Benjamin Turman III and his first wife Prudence Nash. According to p. 797 of Green County, Emily taught school in this area. Mr. Burt was described as a successful farmer. Their youngest child was Frank Henri Burt who died in 1941 in Albany Wisconsin. I would like any info on the Turmans or the Burts Emily Turman would be the half sister of my great-grandfather. thank you. mstempel
