This line goes back to Wm Hills one of the Cofounders of Hartford Connecticut. I'm trying to find information on my GGgfa William Charles Sanders born Ny abt 1810 in Cortland or Onondaga County area. This is only a maybe that he was born in one of these counties. But he married my GGgmo Louisa Hills (Dau of Joel Hills & Mary Fox) in Manlius, Onondaga County, Ny in about 1830. Last child born to them was Elijah Sanders who was born Dec 02 1848 in Rome, Oneida County, Ny and this is last known location or possibility that Wm was last known to be living in. There is no mention of his death or anything else. He just flat falls between the cracks. The only clues I have about his life is that he was raised by Indians and could speak the tongue fluently. His wife my GGmo Louisa Hills is buried Waterloo, Blackhawk County, Iowa.
