I have a June 5, 1924 obit for William ASMUS, aged 72, b April 1852 in Pommerening, Germany, s/o Mr. & Mrs. David Asmus. He came to America as a baby with his parents; mother d in Chicago shortly after arrival. Father & son settled in Juda. William m Mary Schwartzlow in Juda; they lived on a farm in Albany, then 27 yrs in Mt. Pleasant Twp, again in Albany. Ch: Mrs. H.C. Malkow, Mrs. Cecil McCreedy of Decatur Twp, Mrs. Charles Krueger of Monroe, Mrs. Jesse Grenzow of Juda; son Walter of Clarno and son Emil. Also 9 grandchildren, not listed.
