Green County Genealogical Society meets Feb 2. Linda Schiesser will give a presentation "Preparation for Visiting An Archives/Library/Other Sites" when the Green County Genealogical Society meets Feb 2 at 10 AM in the community room of the Monroe Public Library 925 16th Ave, Monroe. The presentation will cover what can be done at home to prepare for a visit and what procedures to use when visiting the site to make a field trip successful. The Wisconsin History Society and their resources will also be discussed. The Green County Genealogical Society meets the first Saturday of the month and invites anyone interested in genealogy to join in. A business meeting will precede the program and a board meeting will follow the program and refreshments.
