The deceased survived his wife only four, and no doubt lonely months to him. His only son was present at the funeral. The funeral services officiated by Rev. Jas. Lawson of Albany. The deceased was noted for his kindness and generousity of spirit. His remains were carried to their resting place beside his companion and were followed by a large concourse of friends, neighbors and relatives. ALBANY VINDICATOR - November 13, 1888
