Dear Christine, That same warning came up on another list I'm on -- please don't worry or blame yourself for anything. It's NOT a virus, it's just a silly hoax. So don't delete anything. If you already have, there are instructions somewhere (maybe somebody on the list has them) on how to restore that SULF file. It's a file that's there on everybody's computer to break up long URL's or something like that. And thanks again for all the information you have contributed to the group. Sincerely, Linda [email protected]
I have tried to send private messages to as many of you who corresponded with me as I could find. I may have infected all of you, I am so sorry. This virus was not detected by the virus hardware that Northwestern University has on all our computers. Please, please, do the following: Go to Start Go to Find or Search, depending on your computer In the Search Files or Folders, type sulfnbk.exe--this is the name of the virus If your search finds this file, it will be an ugly blackish icon that will have the name sulfnbk.exe DO NOT OPEN IT. If it does not show up on your first search, try a new one. Right click on the file then go down to DELETE and left click You will be asked if you want to send the file to the Recycle Bin--say YES Go to your desktop where your icons are and open the recycle bin and either manually delete the sulfnbk.exe program or empty the entire bin. If you found the virus on the system, send this or a similar email to all in your address book. I am so sorry, I was trying to help out here with the genealogy and ended up creating this mess. Looking for my kin the Burt Bro's of Minnesota or any other living kin that is familiar with or working on our family history. Descendants of Joel Hills. This line goes back to Wm Hills one of the Cofounders of Hartford Connecticut. I'm trying to find information on my GGgfa William Charles Sanders born Ny abt 1810 in Cortland or Onondaga County area. This is only a maybe that he was born in one of these counties. But he married my GGgmo Louisa Hills (Dau of Joel Hills & Mary Fox) in Manlius, Onondaga County, Ny in about 1830. Last child born to them was Elijah Sanders who was born Dec 02 1848 in Rome, Oneida County, Ny and this is last known location or possibility that Wm was last known to be living in. There is no mention of his death or anything else. He just flat falls between the cracks. The only clues I have about his life is that he was raised by Indians and could speak the tongue fluently. His wife my GGmo Louisa Hills is buried Waterloo, Blackhawk County, Iowa. Hoping some of you kin out there in Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota will know something about William Charles Sanders disappearance. Stan Hills/Sanders/Riddle-Brookshier, Sr.
Can anyone tell me anymore info on this gentleman. I found census info on him some place tha said he was Pa. But I wonder if that could be an error or the census info on my Ggfa Joel Sanders his son cold be an error. The census on him says his fa was born Ny which I believe to be correct. But Wm Charles Sanders my GGgfa just fell off the face of the earth and I can't find him, His wuife was Louisa Hills and she is buried Waterloo, Blackhawk County, Iowa Muscatine County, Iowa Page: 618 Name: Wm. Sanders Birth Date: 18 May 1811 Death Date: 20 Mar 1881 Cemetery: Nichols Town: Nichols, Pike Now in doing some research yesterday I came across some info where a Roberta of Rebecca Sanders married someone in my Hills Family Tree. She was from Penn and I think she married one of my kin in Wisconson. So it looks we have at least one other line of Sanders in the tree and you can be glad if I have my head on straight. Who ever you are will be related to Wm Hills one of the cofounders of Hartford Connecticut. He first settled Mass in 1632 and latter removed to what is now Hartford. Stan

Lori, I know I asked you for information on Marion Hickok but I think the John A. I know I said I would put up the last half of 1904 but I got sidetracked on this reel from Feb. 12, 1885 through 1886 and part of 1887, so I will put up some of this now. This will be the last posting until after the holidays, when I will finish everything, the second half of 1904 through 1909 and also this reel here. I also still have all the copies I made from the last time I rented the microfilm, which was 1888-1901. A large number of the obits I posted on the Green County site and also posted a bunch of stuff on Lori's Green County site but there was a lot more, including a lot of the smaller items from the outlying areas if you want, I will dig it out after I finish this and post it also, but I am sure there are folks on this list from areas farther away and if this is boring to a number of people on this list I will quit after I finish the microfilm I have.
