May 3, 1831 in Wisconsin. He married "Mary A" who was born 1833 in Ireland. Both died in Wahpeton, ND in the late 1800s. Their children were born in Patch Grove or in Mt. Hope. John D. b. 1852, Montier b. 1854, William, Charles born after that. I've hit a dead end trying to figure out who Charles' parents are and what "Mary A"s maiden name is. I found in the BLM land records that there were some land plots given to Charles, Robert, John, and John Jr. right near Patch Grove. As well as some land to John near Mt. Hope. I don't know if this is "my" Charles Thompson or not. If he is "my" Charles T. then I don't know who the other Thompsons (brother, father, uncle) are. Does anyone have any other information about this Thompson family or clues as to where I might find more information? Thanks. Jay B
