I have just begun tracing my husband's mothers line..as she is in a nursing home..so I wanted to find out as much as I could..and he/ and she are descendants of Joseph Mezera. Do you have any dates..on the Joseph Mezera you are posting about?etc.. My husband's mother is is Gladys Meermans. She is daughter of Anna Mezera and Edward J. Hrdlicka. They lived in Ohio She states that Anna's father was Joseph Mezera and she thinks his wife was maria/marie mezera. Joseph apparently died young at age 42 per her. Is this the line you are referring to as far as you can tell? Sorry I do not have dates..Gladys is now 86, and was born in l916..so her mother Anna Mezera must have been born approx l895 plus or minus...Anna and her husband Edward J. Hrdlicka ran a store and bowling alley and saloon in Clevland. Anna must have had three brothers..named Otto, Jerry and a daughter Clara. Their (Anna and Edward J.) children were Gladys Hrdlicka, Edward Hrdlicka. If this is a match..whatever other info you may have would be greatly appreciated..and I will be happy to share as well..I am waiting to receive from family members more specifics...
